The train is the best way to travel between Lisbon and Sintra with services every 15 minutes from Lisbon's Estação Rossio. The 45-minute trip costs €1.40.
Buses run from Sintra to other towns and cities in the region including bus 417 to Cascais and bus 418 to Estoril.
