InterRail One Country pass

If your travel plans are confined mostly to just one or two countries, then an Interrail One Country pass may be better value than a Global InterRail pass.

You simply buy an InterRail One Country pass for each country that you wish to travel around. Interrail One Country passes are flexi passes, meaning that they are valid for a set number of days within a one month period. Travel days do not need to be consecutive.

Many travellers take advantage of cheap airfares to fly into a country and then use an Interrail One country pass to explore that country in depth.

You cannot use an InterRail One Country pass to travel in your country of residence.

Supplements

Many high speed trains that require a supplement with the InterRail Global pass do not need a supplement with the Interrail One Country pass. However seat reservations and sleeping accommodation charges are still required.

Supplements are payable on some premium train services such as Eurostar Italia (Italy), ICE (Germany), Pendolino S220 (Finland) and X2000 (Sweden).

Some services are not included in the pass such as some night trains and the Artesia (France-Italy), Lyria (France-Switzerland) and Thalys (France-Belgium/Netherlands). However the Interrail pass allows discounted fares on these trains.
