The museum covers Sweden's armed forces through times in a very methodical way, don't miss the modern weapon section. A hot tip is the food is great or have a beer on the veranda.

One of the better museums of Stockholm. As one who has studied military history it is a delight to see how they successfully display critical events in history.

Very good collection. Also, has items for all senses. Can feel the weight of a cannon ball, touch several items, sounds matching the exhibit and even have something to smell

Fantastic layout, all items are clearly marked and information surrounding the exhibits is extensive yet concise. Thoroughly recommend.

Ett av Stockholms bästa museum. Armémuseum passar alla som är intresserade av människans villkor genom tiderna, med fokus på stormaktstiden och framåt.

A lot about the history of war during the centuries. But unfortunately most of the informations is in Swedish. But you can get audio guides in many languages. Does not show the heroic parts of war.

Its worth a visit I suppose, but it lacks hardware. There's a lot of mention of things that aren't here. Also, the end of the Norwegian - Swedish Union in 1905 isn't mentioned with one word!
