Camber Castle

The 16th century Camber Castle was part of Henry VIII’s coastal defence, however it was used as a garrison for only a short periods as the Camber Harbour began to silt up not too long after the castle was completed.

You can only visit the castle as part of a guided tour, which are only conducted three days per year.

No access by road. The closest parking is 1.6km (1 mile) away.
